Beginner's Guide & Basics

Learn the core mechanics of Kick A Lucky Block and start your journey to becoming a brainrot master.

Welcome to Kick A Lucky Block

Kick A Lucky Block is an exciting Roblox survival game where you escape massive tsunamis while collecting adorable meme creatures called Brainrots. Your goal is to outrun the wave, collect brainrots, upgrade your base, and become the ultimate brainrot tycoon.

Pro Tip:

Speed is everything in this game. The faster you are, the better brainrots you can reach and the longer you survive each tsunami wave.

Core Gameplay Loop

Every round follows this basic pattern:

  1. Tsunami Warning - A countdown begins and the tsunami starts approaching
  2. Collect Brainrots - Run through zones grabbing brainrots before the wave hits
  3. Escape the Wave - Sprint back to your base before the tsunami catches you
  4. Collect Earnings - Your brainrots generate money while you're in your base
  5. Upgrade - Spend money on speed, weights, and more brainrots

The Tsunami

Tsunamis are the main threat in the game. There are six types:

  • Super Slow - Very easy to outrun, good for beginners
  • Slow - Early game challenge
  • Medium - Mid-game tsunami, requires decent speed
  • Fast - High-speed wave that requires good upgrades
  • Lightning - Very fast, only reachable with significant upgrades
  • Beast - The fastest tsunami, can be triggered manually for 19 Robux

Understanding Brainrots

Brainrots are the collectible creatures in the game. They come in ten rarity tiers:

  • Common ($2-15/sec) - Found in starting areas
  • Uncommon ($16-75/sec) - Requires basic speed upgrades
  • Rare ($76-400/sec) - Mid-tier brainrots
  • Epic ($401-1,500/sec) - Strong income generators
  • Legendary ($1,501-5,000/sec) - High-value collectibles
  • Mythical ($5,001-25,500/sec) - Rare and powerful
  • Cosmic ($25,501-100,000/sec) - Extremely valuable
  • Secret ($100,001-1,000,000/sec) - Only accessible at 140+ speed
  • Celestial ($1,000,001-1,900,000/sec) - Ultimate goal, requires 200+ speed
  • OG ($2,000,000-5,000,000/sec) - Admin event exclusives

Placing Brainrots

To earn money from brainrots, you must place them on your plot/base. Each brainrot generates passive income per second based on its rarity. Higher rarity brainrots generate more income, allowing you to afford better upgrades faster.

Speed Upgrades

Speed is the most important stat in the game. Higher speed lets you:

  • Outrun faster tsunamis
  • Reach deeper zones with rarer brainrots
  • Survive longer and collect more per round

Speed is purchased from the Speed Upgrades shop. The cost increases with each purchase, but so does your survival chance.

Zone Speed Requirements:

Common (0) → Uncommon (25) → Rare (50) → Epic (75) → Legendary (100) → Mythical (125) → Secret (140) → Celestial (200)

Weight Training

Weights increase your power, which helps you survive tsunamis and collect brainrots more effectively. The weight progression includes:

  • Wooden Stick (Power: 1)
  • Plastic Dumbbell (Power: 5)
  • Iron Bar (Power: 15)
  • Steel Weight (Power: 40)
  • Golden Kettlebell (Power: 100)
  • Diamond Barbell (Power: 300)
  • Platinum Power Bar (Power: 800)
  • Giant Gold Star Barbell (Power: 2,500)

The Rebirth System

Once you reach the speed and money requirements, you can rebirth. Rebirthing resets your speed and money but grants a permanent money multiplier. This is essential for late-game progress.

Early rebirths are quick and give small multipliers (1.10x at rebirth 1). Later rebirths require massive speed (3,500+ for rebirth 30) but grant up to 12x multiplier.

Mutations

Mutations enhance your brainrots with income multipliers:

  • Base (1.0x) - No bonus
  • Golden (1.5x) - Basic mutation
  • Diamond (2.0x) - Improved mutation
  • Plasma (3.0x) - Rare mutation
  • Molten (5.0x) - Epic mutation
  • Radioactive (7.0x) - Legendary mutation
  • Lucky (10.0x) - Admin event exclusive, highest multiplier
Pro Tip:

Focus on speed upgrades early game. Speed determines which zones you can access, and better zones mean rarer brainrots and faster progression.

Your First Steps

Here's what to do when you first start:

  1. Run around and collect any brainrots you see during the tsunami warning
  2. Place collected brainrots on your base to start earning passive income
  3. Buy speed upgrades to increase your base speed
